Thika west parish is a subdivision of the larger Thika parish. The subdivision was conducted on 23rd may 2010 under the leadership of Rev Edward karanja who was the Parish minister. Geographicaly, thika west parish touches on several parts along the highway. Ie Ngoingwa,Ndarugu, witeithie(Tumaini) and some tow interior congregations ie Kiahuria and Athena. Since then the parish has grown in numbers and also in infrastructure. Currently the parish has 6 congregations. The parish headquarters are located at PCEA Ngoingwa Church where also the parish minister operates from. Currently thika west Parish is under the leadership of Rev Fredrick Kaugi Gitonga.

Womans Guild,Fellowship and all ladies fellowships - Monday 5.00pm-6.00pm-Friday prayers from 5.30 -Praise in Worship–Saturday at 3.00pm -Young youth*(age 13-19 years) meeting every Saturday from 3.30 pm -Choir Practice Saturday at 4.00pm -Youth Fellowship 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month from 3.00pm -Brigade every Sunday from 3.30pm.

what’s the issue?

PRAYER

Prayer is an exercise of faith in any particular situation in which Christians may find themselves. Prayer is faith in its self-expression and shares the spontaneity and freedom of faith. Prayer brings into focus our Christians beliefs on the one hand and our Christian commitment on the other hand. Prayer involves deep human commitment that acknowledges the reality of God in adoration and in thanksgiving that move the believer to confess sins and to ask for forgiveness. Prayer acknowledges one’s needs and asks for God help for oneself and for other human beings. Prayer reveals our deepest commitments in faith and also makes known our deepest commitments in life. In our Christian life, let us practice the prayers of confession, adoration, thanksgiving, supplication and intercession and in fullness of time and will experience God’s blessings.
